Our environment - our well being

Mental Health Awareness (MHA) 2017

Alhamdulillah, our rollout of the Mental health awareness campaign 2017 was a successful one with a lot of positive feedback.

Now IFI is introducing the next phase of the campaign of the Health Awareness on Saturday - 6th May 2017 from 12.00pm to 5.00 pm

Due to popular demand and request from our community, IFI has decided to combine the Health Screening Programme (basic checkup) with Mental Health awareness campaign this year.

The main aim for this “Health Awareness day “ is to help the community maintain a good health base in the Irish society.

We will be having the basic checkup of Blood pressure, Glucose and BMI, and some basic consultation from the volunteer doctors will be available from 2 pm to 5 pm on the day.

We also have smaller discussion group session catering for the young and adolescent, men and women, and all groups will be in separate rooms. The topic for the day is “Let’s Talk” which will be conducted by the speaker from our first seminar inshaAllah
Time for this discussion is from 2 pm to 5 pm

Taking on board one of the key thing that was mention from the previous seminar, we also have to look after our diet, we will have a nutrition corner inshaAllah

Islamic foundation of Ireland would like all community leaders in the Dublin mosque area and it's neighbourhood to be part of these health awareness days and keep every member in their community informed of this programme.

It is the time we start talking about the environment, our health and what impact it has on an individual household. When the conversation starts we can of address the issue, for a cleaner and healthier environment.

Make it your responsibility to let the Muslim groups or organisations help create awareness of the programme taking part in the IFI Dublin- South Circular Mosque.
May Allah reward you for encouraging others to benefit from this programme so that we can have a better and risk-free environment.

We also looking for the male nurse, Male doctor or final year medical students, and few volunteers to help us in this campaign. Email to IFIsisters@islaminireland.com
