Admission Form
Due to
the considerable increase in the number of Muslim children in
the Dublin area in recent years, and to the fact that a
sizeable number of these children do not receive regular
Islamic education, and perhaps some do not receive any Islamic
education at all, the Al-Falah Weekend Islamic school was
established by the Islamic Foundation of Ireland in May 2000.
The
purpose of the School is to provide Islamic education for
children who do not receive Islamic education in their local
schools, but children from the two full-time Muslim national
schools in Dublin also attend the
school. Classes were held at the premises of the Islamic
Foundation of Ireland. With the construction work currently
going on to extend the Dublin Mosque classes for this school
year 2008/2009 have been moved to the premises of Griffith Barracks Educate
Together
National
School.
Classes are held on Saturdays from 11.00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. Subjects taught are Arabic, Qur’an and religious studies.
There are currently 94 pupils who are enrolled in the School.
A
monthly fee of €20.00 per child, £35.00 per two children and a
maximum of €50.00 for any number of children is charged to
cover some of the expenses of the school.
